The Great Wall

The Great Wall of China. ๐Ÿˆธ

One of my first pictures with my new Pentax (my first “fancy” camera ๐Ÿ™‚). I really didn’t even know how to use it yet.

But I had just traveled to China to teach English for a year at Zhengzhou University at the ripe ol’ age of 23. It was 1986, and I had to say goodbye to my new fiancรฉ for an entire year!๐Ÿ˜ญ

BBQ on a Stormy Night

Our local barbecue restaurant just got this huge, wooden rocking chair to put in front of their building.

I told my husband it looked like the great white throne judgment (mentioned in the Bible) as the storm clouds started to roll in. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Colorful Starling

I was able to catch this guy right out my patio window…lucky me…look at those colors! ๐Ÿ“ท

From afar they always look dingy black. ๐Ÿ™‚

Sometimes there are hundreds in my yard!

Happy Birthday

Wishing my son-in-law, of almost two years, a very happy birthday. ๐ŸŽˆ๐ŸŽˆ

As you can see from this photo, he is an extreme Falcons fanatic. (Yes, this is their wedding engagement photo.) ๐Ÿˆ

The man knows EVERYTHING there is about this team! The Atlanta Falcons SO need to hire him, for real!! He has been so loyal to them no matter what the season! (Even writing Facebook posts to encourage fickle fans.)๐Ÿ˜‰

Now I know more about the Falcons than I ever have in my life. HA
